Below are a list of Frequently Asked Questions in regards to registering for the Rapids swim team and billing:

• What is the requirement to be able to join the Swim Team?
  • Kids 4-18 years of age are allowed to join the Rapids. The only requirement is that they can make it one length of the pool (25 yards) without assistance and/or without holding on to the lane rope or wall.
• What is the registration cost for the 2026 season?
  • Summer Swim is $125 per child that is a member of Riverwood Pool and $150 if your child is not a member.

• What forms of payment for registration do you accept?
  • Payment of registration fees can be submitted via check or through online credit card payment. Please note that registration payment is ONLY refundable with a written request sent to [email protected] by Tuesday, May 26, 2026. After the 26th, NO refunds will be processed.
  • When submitting payment online, please note you will be charged a convenience fee of 3.4% plus 30¢ per transaction to process card payments. This fee is nonrefundable.
• How do I register?
  • Registration is completely online and paperless!! Please go to rapids.swimtopia.com and when registration is open, a link on the homepage will appear: saying Register!
• Why do I have to pay more as a non-member of the Riverwood Pool?
  • An extra $25 for  registration is required for any non-members of the Riverwood Pool. This is a requirement by the HOA and the Riverwood Rapids board to make sure that we are covering any non-member swimmers liability. Additionally, it is in a partnership to encourage pool membership for the Riverwood Plantation community.  Without our pool, we would not be able to have a swim team!
