Hello from your Volunteer Coordinator !

Hi Team!

Welcome to the 2026 Rapids swim season!  It has been a great first two days on deck with everyone!  I wanted to take a second to say hello,  send out my contact info , and hit the hot topics when it comes to volunteering this season,

Volunteer requirement- As per your registration all families are required to fill two slots PER FAMILY during our season. If you are still needing to sign up for your two slots  and don't see a vacancy when you are available please email me. I will  remove someone with multiple volunteer  slots  to add you in when possible.

Volunteer Roles- No experience is needed for a majority of our team roles! So don't be afraid to sign up!

Stroke and Turn Officials - This requires a specific certification in order to sign up for the role. If you are not certified and have signed up for this role I ask that you please remove yourself from the job  ASAP so we can  fill  the vacancy. If you are new to our team transferring from another CSRA swim meet  and are certified please reach out so I can verify your certification on  the CSRA list.

Changes to your assignment- A tremendous amount of behind the scenes work is done to make  all CSRA  swim meets successful. We ask that you please make changes to your volunteer assignments well in advance if/when possible. It takes a village to  successfully run summer swim, and that village includes all of you.

Unfilled Volunteer Slots- There are some vital roles that must be filled for the meet to start.  Occasionally we make it on deck  with some unfilled  vital roles. Alert messages will be sent out asking for help, as well as an announcement from the Meet Manager.  Please know the start of the meet may be delayed till these  roles  are filled per  our  CSRA requirements.

If you have any questions please email me  at  [email protected]. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Looking forward to a great season and  seeing everyone on deck!

GO RAPIDS!
