Good morning, 2025 Rapids Families!

We’re excited to kick off swim practices starting today! A few important reminders as we get going:

• Weather & Water Conditions:
  We closely monitor both the weather and water temperature for each practice. Swim practices may continue in the rain at the discretion of the coaches and board. However, we will clear the pool and pool deck immediately if there’s thunder or lightning in the area. If needed, we’ll transition to dryland conditioning in the barn.
• Practice Updates & Cancellations:
  All updates — including any weather-related cancellations — will be sent through Remind. Please be sure you’ve joined this season’s class: Rapids2025.
• Pool Gate Code:
  The gate code for this swim season is 52025. It will only work during official meets and practices.
• Parking Reminder:
  Please do not park on the grass along Riverwood Parkway at any time during the swim season. Your help with this keeps our area safe and accessible for everyone and in good standing with the HOA.
• Merchandise & Suits:
  Team merchandise, including swim caps, is scheduled to be delivered next week. If you preordered a team suit through Augusta Swim Supply, those will be distributed as soon as we have them in hand. We’ll keep you posted through Remind!
• New Parent Meeting:
  If you’re new to the Rapids, we’ll be holding a brief parent meeting during practices today to share some important details and answer any questions you may have. 
• Kona Ice This Week!
  Kona Ice will be on site after practices this week for a fun post-practice treat!
