Happy Friday, are you missing swim yet?

As promised, I finally got a chance today to update the Riverwood Rapids Record Book with record breaks from Divisionals and Allstars.

Congratulations to these swimmers on their 1st place record book update:

• Gabi Goldner, Rosalind Montjoy, Kenna Marteney, Maliyah Vann - broke their own Girls 6 & Under 100 yard Freestyle Relay record with a time of 1:45.09 at Divisionals.
• Montgomery Craik - broke Alex Vazquez's record from 2009 in the Boys 9-10 25 Freestyle at Allstars with a time of 14.18
• Luke Salser - broke his brother Ethan Salser's 2022 record in Boys 13-14 Breaststroke at Allstars with a time of 31.41
• Winston Craik - broke his own record from last year in Boys 9-10 25 Backstroke at Allstars with a time of 17.52
• Montgomery Craik - broke another historic record, he broke Zachary Vazquez's record from 2011 at Allstars in Boys 9-10 25 Butterfly with a time of 17.04
• Keaton Marteney, Hava Pride, Lilly Grace Oblak, Olivia Vann - broke a 2021 relay record in the Girls 7-8 Medley Relay at Divisionals with a time of 1:27.65
• Winston Craik, Clayton Gambrell, Luke Welch, Montgomery Craik - broke a 2010 relay record in the Mixed 9-10 100 Medley Relay at Divisionals with a time of 1:16.76
• Sara Jane Bloodworth, Mackenzie Morris, Lyla Oldham, Claire Hayes - broke a 2010 relay record for Girls 13-14 200 yard Freestyle Relay at Divisionals with a time of 2:04.70

Last but not least, I realized as I was working on the Record Book that it included times from past Time Trials meets, which technically are unofficial. Additionally, the Record Book was missing some Mixed Relay events and 8 & Under and 10 & Under events. I am not going to name all the changes but this definitely impacted some of our swimmers this season and THEY NOW OFFICIALLY GET THE RECORD BOOK UPDATE THEY DESERVE. Apologies it took me so long to catch that :(
