Hi Rapids,

Good Morning! Big day tomorrow for our team, please see all the details below for our Division 1 Divisionals Meet tomorrow. We will take on Brynwood, Jones Creek, and West Lake one more time in the Augusta Aquatic Center. 

***REMINDER: Please encourage or talk with your swimmer(s) about sportsmanship: have them give high fives, fist bumps, and cheer on not only our team but these other teams as well. We want everyone to have fun and want to be proud of the vibe we come with and leave with ;)

MEET DETAILS:

Augusta Aquatic Center: 3157 Damascus Rd, Augusta, GA 30909

• ARRIVE: by 8:45am
• Warm-up: 9:00am
• Officials Meeting (Hospitality room): 9:15am
• Timer's Meeting (Weight room): 9:30am
• National Anthem: 9:55am
• START: 10:00am

Swimmers should wear their Riverwood Rapids T-Shirt and when they arrive come find our designated spot on the pool deck.

ALL Swimmers will sit with the team on the pool deck in our assigned area. We suggest they have an extra towel or two to sit on and some snacks and lots of water, etc. in their bag. 10 & under swimmers will have a sign with where to group together for our team. Please find their age group and place their stuff in their Riverwood age group assigned area.

There will be concessions for sale, selling breakfast items, fruit, drinks, coffee and snack/candy. Cash and card will be accepted.

Spectators are welcome to watch from the gallery up top in the Aquatic Center. THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED ON the pool deck during the meet. ONLY VOLUNTEERS ARE ALLOWED ON DECK. If you have a young swimmer, we will have your swimmer check-in with the Shepherd and use Remind to communicate with you in the gallery. If you haven't been to the Aquatic Center before for Divisionals, it is crowded and very warm, dress appropriately.

Volunteers assigned for Divisionals are also attached. Please note you will check in at the Front Desk to get your badge from the host team and our Riverwood blue badges from Sherry Brown. Note: not all teams have 2nd Shift, so you will have to switch out yourselves at the Crescendo with the 1st Shift Riverwood volunteer.
