Hi Rapids,

Good evening from my kitchen with a glass of wine and my Chick-Fil-A sandwich. Hopefully everyone already saw my remind message regarding the meet but my sincerest thanks to our Rapids Family and our swim community. Thank you for your patience, understanding, help, and overall support. It is not easy making the calls that disappoint kids and entire families, so I wanted to say I appreciate you all!

I am so beyond proud of our team, our families and swimmers embraced the Christmas spirit and were cheering for not only their own tonight but Jones Creek as well....and ya'll that is what this is all about!

As I mentioned in remind, the Jones Creek manager, myself, and both Jones Creek & Rapids coaches agreed to call the meet at event #29 and NOT reschedule the second half of the meet as we are very limited in resources and time to pull off a reschedule. We will move forward to our next meet on Tuesday at West Lake! If you have any questions regarding this, please let me know.

Let's all look forward to our next meet against West Lake and our first AWAY meet. Please note this (and I will repeat), I do not have as much control over entries, heat sheet, etc. when at an away meet. It is very important to put in notes for Coaches if you have a specific request AND Opt-in or Out before entries are due.

Great "half" meet everyone and I am so sorry to the kids like my daughter Lyla who did not get to swim their events tonight.
