Hi Rapids,

Great job on your first day of summer swim 2023! Swimming is a full body workout and not as easy as it looks SO you should be so proud of yourselves today!

Couple of Practice Reminders:

Please make sure the swimmers have water and if at all possible goggles. It is hot outside and with the swimming they are doing, they can get dehydrated quickly.

Parents Homework:

Please login to rapids.swimtopia.com either online or through their amazing Swimtopia App available on the App Store and Google Play and mark your swimmer(s) as either attending or not attending our meets.

*** We WILL ONLY swim swimmers that have opted in as ATTENDING in the meets, we will not assume you are attending.***

Here are steps and screengrabs on how to do this:

1. Login and go to the Schedule tab

2. Select the green button

3. Select edit under your swimmer(s)

4. Select 'Attending' or Not Attending' in the drop-down beside each swimmer

5. Optional: You can put in notes for the coaches AND opt the swimmer out of team relay races if you do not want them entered in a relay.

Don't forget to page over in the Schedule to Mark Opt in or Opt Out for all our league swim meets. If you have any questions on this, please feel free to grab me tomorrow at practice.

Great job again today, everyone really did well even with the limited space and time we have!
