Hi Rapids,

Good Morning to the undefeated, record breaking, now famous RAPIDS! You all showed up last night and showed up huge - defeating the undefeated Brynwood for the first time since June of 2011.

There are so many thank yous to make that this email would be 5 pages long. We received notice at 8:30am yesterday that Brynwood could not host the meet and our community - this team pivoted fearlessly to host it. We didn't have to do that and we didn't have to do it as well as we did BUT WE DID IT!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE that helped make last night happen! To our volunteers, our concession managers that got together food last minute, and to the lovely individuals that throughout the meet last night handled power-outage, parking issues, clogged toilets, and broken blocks....this meet happened because of each one of you!

Results from last night are attached - if you have any questions regarding the DQs because there were a ton, please reach out to a coach or myself.

YA'LL the number of FIRST PLACE Records and record book updates from last night is insane. I'll be honest I expected one or two but below is absolutely amazing for the end of the season and how warm the water is.

• Girls 18 & Under 200 Medley Relay - Ashley Marshall, Angela Agcaoili, Ali Donosky, and Myleah Youngblood broke the relay record from 2019 with a time of 2:04.41
• Mixed 18 & Under 200 Medley Relay - Lukas Vizgaitis, Tyler Collins, Alex Salser, Adam Lippe broke the relay record from 2021 with a time of 1:47.59
• Girls 6 & Under 25 Free - Maliyah Vann broke Evie DeRossi's record from 2010 with a time of 21.11
• Girls 11-12 50 Free - Claire Hayes broke Ellen Johnson's record from 2012 with a time of 27.23
• Girls 11-12 50 Breaststroke - Amina McCowin broke Leah Gibbon's record from 2014 with a time of 34.24
• Boys 13-14 50 Breaststroke - Ethan Salser broke Tyler Collin's record from 2018 with a time of 32.18

• Girls 15-18 50 Butterfly - Angela Agcaoili broke her record with a time of 27.16
• Boys 13-14 100 IM - Ethan Salser broke his record with a time of 59.37
• Mixed 18 & Under 200yd Free Relay - Tyler Collins, Lukas Vizgaitis, Alex Salser, Adam Lippe broke their record with a time of 1:36.53

We move forward with the rest of this week and look now at the Division 1 Championship! We have to bring this energy, this fight to Saturday when we swim for the Division 1 title, I will be sending another email with those that need to declare and jobs that I need filled ASAP.
