Good afternoon! Congratulations again on another win last night:

I can't say it enough: we have the best families and community within this team. Thank you to the million people that help make these meets possible for these kids. Thank you for your patience with the changes yesterday and the weather dance that someone did ;)

Results from the meet are attached. Even with the water getting warmer and harder to race in, we have swimmers breaking Riverwood records:

Climbing up on the Record Book but not on the top yet:

• Eva Tang in the 8 & under 25 Breaststroke
• Winston Craik in the 9 & 10 25 Backstroke
• Amina McCowin in the 11-12 100 IM

Record Breaks last night:

• Boys 11-12 50 Breaststroke - Luke Salser broke his record again with a time of 33.82
• Girls 6 & Under 25 Backstroke - Gabi Goldner broke her record with a time of 25.40
• Boys 13 & 14 50 Backstroke - Ethan Salser broke his own record with a time of 27.64
• Boys 11 & 12 100 IM - Luke Salser broke Jason Butts record from 2010...2010 ya'll...with a time of 1:04.39!!

Looking FORWARD:

1. Brynwood meet on Tuesday - this will be at Brynwood which is a great pool to swim at and will be our most exciting meet of the season. Brynwood is a powerhouse in swimming and has not been beat in (estimated) 14 years!! Please mark your swimmers as ATTENDING in Swimtopia as this will not be a meet you will want to miss.
2. Divisionals & AllStars - I am going to send out a Divisionals and Allstars 411 email later today or tomorrow. Essentially all swimmers that have swam in 2 meets this season can swim in Divisionals. This meet is the culmination of our season and is an absolutely amazing experience for all swimmers to see and participate in. Divisionals is open in Swimtopia now for you to mark attending or not attending, so please go ahead mark in Swimtopia as we will need to know this for each swimmer.
3. Banquet - I am looking for a few parents that would like to help organize and run the banquet. If you are interested, I can plan to meet with you all this Saturday up at the Barn to discuss. Please let me know if you are interested.
4. Volunteers - assignments for our team for volunteers has not come out yet for Divisionals. Once I have what roles we will need to fill, I will reach out. Thank you to all our wonderful families that volunteer!
