Hi Rapids,

Good Morning! As I sit here at the pool watching our swimmers play water polo this morning, I am smiling. We have such a great group of kids, great Coaches, and the very best little community in this team.

Congratulations to our Rapids for another WIN last night!

Attached are the meet results from last night. We had some great races last night and I know some frustrating ones.... so I can't thank everyone enough that volunteered and stepped in even though they weren't signed up.

Records Broken Last Night:

• Boys 13-14 50 Butterfly: Ethan Salser broke his own record with a time of 26.01
• Mixed 18 & Under 200 Free Relay: Ethan Salser, Alex Salser, Adam Lippe, and Luzas Vizigaitis broke a 2019 record with a time of 1:39.11

There were also a ton of 2nd/3rd place records broken like Claire Hayes getting of time of 27.89 in the Girls 11-12 50 Free which is milliseconds off of breaking Ellen Johnson's 2012 record of 27.86, check them all out here: Riverwood Rapids Records

Looking forward to our next meet against West Lake here at home (last home meet of the season). Please make sure to mark attending or not attending AND we are going to take our team picture prior to the meet, so plan to arrive a bit earlier.

Last but not least, we are going to make some changes to Shepherding and the volunteer roles, I will be working on that this week and email those changes prior to our next meet.
