Hi Rapids,

Good Morning! Our first meet in over two years is done...how amazing it is to say that after the last year we had. Just recall the cheering during the amazing Crescendo race in the middle of the meet, I personally almost teared up during that because I have never seen all of these kids so excited to race and cheer on their teams. They missed the water, they missed the races, they missed the candy & Kona Ice....I think we all did!

Thank you to all our amazing volunteers and parents! Without you all being willing to work and even work in the dark, we would not be able to have a successful meet. We would not even be able to run a meet!!

For swimming the top team in the entire CSRA last night and the only meet out of our division...these swimmers should be super proud of themselves and their team. CONGRATS!

PDF of results is attached. Please note this PDF includes DQs and the Coaches will talk with these swimmers and work with them on the DQs. IT IS NORMAL to have a lot of DQs in the beginning of the season.

• Girls 9-10 25yd Breaststroke: Amina McCowin broke her own record with a time of 16.38
• Girls 15-18 50yd Butterfly: Angela Agcaoili broke her own record with a time of 27.37
• Girls 9-10 100yd IM: Amina McCowin broke Olivia Brower's record from 2013 with a time of 1:17.07
• Girls 15-18 100yd IM: Angela Agcaoili broke her own record with a time of 1:02.73
