Hello swim families!

Just wanted to say that I am so proud of our kiddos this season and all of the improvement so far. I can't wait to see how we wrap up this season!

Reminders:

If your swimmer is not attending the meet on Saturday, please do NOT send them to practice tomorrow or Friday. We need to be focusing on the swimmers that will be competing in the meet so we can prep them for the biggest meet of the season and to possibly qualify for Allstars.

Aquatics Center Practice:

Please OPT IN to practice at the Aquatics Center for Friday if your swimmer plans on attending Divisionals. The cost is $3 per swimmer. Practice times are as follows:

8:30am to 9:30am for 11 & up

9:30am to 10:30am for 10 & under

Divisionals Info:

Divisionals is on Saturday, June 22nd! Please have your swimmers at the pool by 2:30/2:45pm. Warm ups will begin at 3:00pm and the meet will begin at 4:00pm. The address to the pool is: 3157 Damascus Rd, Augusta, GA 30909.

Parents will NOT be able to come on the pool deck during this meet because we have limited deck space. Also, the water is COLD. This is to help the swimmers swim faster and to keep the water sanitary. The younger swimmers may get scared, but hopefully the practice on Friday will help out with this :-)

Here is a list of things that I recommend swimmers have with them on the deck for this meet:

-Drinks (water, powerade, gatorade)

-2 towels (one to dry off with, one to sit on)

-Goggles, extra goggles, cap

-Snacks (there will be concessions as well)

-Bath robe, blankets (anything to keep them warm)

-Extra change of clothes to change into at the end of the meet

-Something to entertain them (coloring books, DS, etc.)

This meet may be longer than the others that we have had in the past but it is the most FUN!! This meet will be available on Meet Mobile, so make sure to download the app before coming to the pool. We will be swimming against all the teams in Division 3 and hopefully we can take home one final win for the season! If we win, the swimmers get to throw the coaches in the pool :-)
