Hi Rapids,

Happy Father's Day to all our amazing swim dads! We have the following reminders/updates to our schedule to note:

TEAM PICTURE - we are going to take our team photo for this season right before warm-ups on Tuesday. Please arrive to the pool around 4pm if possible and have team shirt on and ready for the photo!

FRIDAY PRACTICE AT AQUATIC CENTER - we scheduled practice lanes for Friday the 21st at the Augusta Aquatic Center (3157 Damascus Rd, Augusta, GA 30909). Older swimmers will practice from 8:30 to 9:30 and younger swimmers from 9:30 to 10:30. This practice is a great opportunity to get used to the water and the blocks at the Aquatic Center prior to Divisionals. NOTE: to swim it is $3 per swimmer, paid to the Aquatic Center front desk when you enter (please try to have exact change).

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: OPT OUT of Divisionals AND Allstars as soon as possible on rapids.swimtopia.com (not the app). This is so important because we have to provide scratches for Allstars at the Divisional meet! Also, swimmers can only qualify for Allstars by swimming at Divisionals, so if you are not swimming at Divisionals, you should also opt out of Allstars.

Additional Reminders:

• We will send out job sign-up and open it online once we have our jobs assigned for Divisionals & Allstars. Please note at these meets, ONLY those with assigned jobs are allowed on the pool deck. All other parents, visitors, siblings, etc. will watch from the viewing deck upstairs. We sit together as a team and our Shepherds are in charge of all the swimmers. They will have a system in place for you to contact your swimmer if needed.
• Banquet - reminder to mark your calendars for our end of season banquet. We will have it on Tuesday the 25th from 7-9pm in the Riverwood Barn and then swim from 9-10pm.
