Hi Rapids,

We have our first and only away meet on Tuesday, June 11th at Fermata. Please review details of the meet below and PLEASE PLEASE OPT-OUT if you are not attending by Saturday noon est!

We understand that this meet is away in Aiken but part of competitive swimming and summer swim is getting the chance to swim other teams and swim in other locations. We were incredibly lucky this season to have 3 home meets and only 1 away meet. Please consider this and our team when deciding whether to attend or not.

Details for Fermata:

• Address: 841 Whiskey Road, Aiken SC
• Parking is in the Fermata lot, please follow the parking steward’s directions
• Get there by 5pm at the latest
• Our designated area of the pool deck will be across the pool from where you enter, tents are ok.
• They will have full concessions - fresh grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, treats and drinks. Please bring small bills for concessions, they do not take credit cards.

Volunteers Still Needed:

1. Fermata is a 7 lane pool, so we need another 2 timers for first and second half.

2. They are also requesting two volunteers for first and second half for score table. So we need another 2 people on top of the 2 we already have.

3. Stroke & Turn: we are need of one more stroke & turn ref for second half **note you have to be certified for this position.
