Hi Rapids,

You all know what I am going to say but going to say it again...we have the absolute best parents in the league! Thank you for all you have done for this team in the rain, in the sun, in the heat, and with a large impeding storm moving in!

Congrats to all of our swimmers, I know they didn't get to swim the entire meet but they swam hard and it showed. We won the meet 245 to 173!!

Attached is the pdf with the meet results for the events we were able to score.

Now moving on to our upcoming FINALE weekend! First up is Divisionals on Saturday morning, then Ice Cream Awards Banquet on Sunday, and Allstars meet Monday evening.

Divisionals Info:

Saturday June 30th at the Augusta Aquatic Center: 3157 Damascus Rd, Augusta, GA 30909

Warm-ups begin at 8am sharp with the meet beginning at 9am. Be there at 7:45am!

We are in Division 1 and are swimming West Lake, Houndslake, and Brynwood at the meet. All kiddos swim!

Volunteers & Parents at Divisionals:

ONLY those parents that are volunteering are allowed on the pool deck during the meet. All other parents, visitors, etc. will have to watch from the viewing deck up above the pool. Your kiddos will remain with the Shepherds and our team on deck during the entire meet. (more to come on this in another email).

Volunteer positions are now open on Swimtopia, please login and select the position you would like to volunteer for. Volunteer sign-up will close Thursday EOD.

Awards Banquet:

We will have our Banquet this year before Allstars because of the 4th of July holiday. Banquet will be held at the Barn at 6pm on Sunday. This year we will not be doing a dinner but rather Ice Cream for kids, siblings, and parents. More details on this coming in another email but please mark your calendars for this wonderful end of season celebration!

Allstars Meet:

The Allstars meet is Monday at the Augusta Aquatic Center. Meet starts at 6pm. Allstars is for the top 20 swimmers in each event from the entire CSRA swim league. There are no relays, just individual events. We will let you know what swimmers qualify in which events after Divisionals because it is your time from Divisionals that places you in Allstars! It is a huge honor and very big accomplishment for a swimmer to qualify for Allstars as there are 21 teams and approx. 2,000 swimmers in the CSRA!!

Volunteer positions are NOT open for Allstars yet, we will get our list of positions later on this week.
